The Atmosphere FCR model features a maple wood ring base and an aluminium stem, creating a refined object that combines educational function with the elegance of modern furnishings. In addition to up-to-date geographical data and precise Italian-language nomenclature, this globe offers a truly visual and tactile experience of mountainous relief. The main mountain ranges are visible, and running your fingertips over the globe lets you feel the world’s highest peaks. With a globe diameter of 30 cm and a total height of 40 cm, the Atmosphere FCR rotates on its axis. The sphere is particularly precisely made: the join between the two hemispheres along the equator is smooth, with no raised seam. It also comes with an E14 LED bulb, supplied with power via a European two-pin plug, offering two different views of the Earth. With the light off, it shows a physical map; when lit, it switches to a political map, using different colours to distinguish countries.
