Every model is IPX8 certified by an independent laboratory (SGS, IEC 60529 standard, 30 minutes submerged). Before first use, do the paper test: place a sheet of paper inside and submerge the pouch for 15 seconds. If it’s dry, the seal is proven. Does the touchscreen work fully underwater? Out of the water, even with wet hands: perfectly. Underwater, all capacitive screens become less responsive (a limitation of smartphone technology, not the pouch), so use the physical buttons instead.
