The included eBook will be a great help. We can recommend this kalimba to practically anyone—from beginners and intermediate players to advanced musicians. The tines are made of softer, thinner metal, making them gentler on your thumbs if you're a beginner. iECO Kalimba — Subscribe and receive an eBook To use this number-based kalimba book, you'll want to mark the melody stickers on your kalimba. Most kalimbas start at “1” and work their way up the scale. Although this is a kind of “paint by numbers” for music, the numbers have a meaning: they represent the scale degrees. In other words, “1 - 2 - 3” is the same as “Do Re Mi.” The book is organized into sections, starting with the simplest songs that any kalimba should be able to play, then moving on to more complex songs. Benefits of playing the kalimba The kalimba's beautiful sound can help relieve mental stress and make you feel more relaxed. It's also great for inspiring children's musical creativity. Put down your electronic devices and listen to the wonderful kalimba with a relaxed mind.
