MOOG DFAM Analog Percussion Synthesizer

The Drummer From Another Mother (DFAM) is a highly interactive, semi-modular analog percussion synthesizer that’s very different from a traditional drum machine. As an addition to the Mother-32 family of semi-modular analog synthesizers, the DFAM offers a unique, hands-on and expressive approach to rhythm creation. Anyone can use it, with no patching or prior experience, to quickly synthesize new and unique rhythms. The DFAM is like a living organism, with its three analog envelopes working dynamically with the 8-step sequencer to easily unleash or rein in tribal toms, industrial impacts and cacophonous chaos. Each DFAM includes MOOG patch cables that let you use its 24-point modular patch bay. Use them to create new sounds and unusual behavior, synchronize any number of DFAMs and MOOG semi-modular units, or integrate your analog instrument into a modular Eurorack production setup.
